Jagdish Nainwal is the Chief Marketing Officer at UPL Corporation, where he leads the company's global marketing strategy and Natural Plant Protection (NPP) business. As a member of the executive leadership team, he is responsible for delivering an integrated approach to UPL's product portfolio, creating differentiated customer offerings across crop protection and biosolutions, and advancing the company's ambition to achieve a balanced post-patent and differentiated/sustainable portfolio.

Jagdish brings more than two decades of global leadership experience in the agriculture industry, spanning marketing, commercial strategy, portfolio management, business development, and regional leadership. Since joining UPL, he has held several leadership roles, including Global Head of the Insecticide Portfolio, Director General for Mexico and Cuba, and most recently Regional Head – LATAM. During his tenure, he successfully led the integration of the UPL and Arysta businesses across the region, built a high-performing multicultural organization, and consistently delivered profitable growth and increased market share.

Prior to rejoining UPL, Jagdish held commercial and marketing leadership positions with BASF and DuPont Pioneer, gaining extensive experience in product management, crop portfolio strategy, and business development across key agricultural markets. He began his career with UPL as a Management Trainee in 2002, building a strong foundation in commercial leadership before returning to the company to take on progressively larger global responsibilities.

Beyond his corporate role, Jagdish serves as Founder President of the India–Mexico Trade and Commerce Council (INDMEX), where he works to strengthen bilateral trade and business collaboration between the two countries. He is also a Harvard Business School Executive Education alumnus and holds an MBA in Agribusiness Management from the College of Agribusiness Management, Pantnagar.
