Rupesh Gupta is the Chief Financial Officer of UPL Corp, where he leads the company's global finance organization and is responsible for driving strategic value creation, capital stewardship, financial transformation, and sustainable business performance across UPL's global crop protection platform.

Since joining UPL in 2019, Rupesh has held several strategic finance leadership roles, most recently serving as Chief Financial Officer of UPL Sustainable Agri Solutions (UPL SAS). In this role, he led the finance agenda for the successful restructuring and carve-out of UPL SAS, helping establish a standalone operating model while driving business transformation initiatives that enhanced profitability, operational effectiveness, and cash generation. He also played a key role in leading strategic fundraising initiatives and championed digital and analytics-driven programs that strengthened decision-making and business performance. Following his transition to UPL Corp, he has worked closely with global and regional leadership teams to identify key business priorities and develop long-term, value-focused solutions.

With over 20 years of experience across the agriculture, pharmaceutical, FMCG, and chemicals sectors, Rupesh brings deep expertise in corporate finance, business transformation, strategic planning, capital allocation, mergers and acquisitions, performance management, enterprise risk management, treasury, and financial governance. Prior to joining UPL, he held finance leadership positions at Cipla and ITC Limited, where he led commercial finance, business partnering, and strategic finance initiatives across multiple businesses. He began his career with Lodha & Co., building a strong foundation in finance, accounting, and audit.

As CFO, Rupesh partners closely with business leaders across the organization to accelerate profitable growth, enhance capital efficiency, strengthen financial discipline, advance digital finance capabilities, and support UPL Corp's long-term strategic priorities through disciplined capital allocation and operational excellence.

Rupesh is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Delhi.
