If you’re looking for a fungicide to use in combination with other products, then consider UPLIFT. It’s unique easy-to-use suspension concentrate (SC) formulation makes it a more compatible formulation than many other fungicides.
Being an SC formulation means UPLIFT is less prone to crop scorch/phototoxicity issues than emulsifiable concentrate (EC) formulations of fungicides when mixed with other herbicides, insecticides, fertilisers and/or Biosolutions products.
Avoiding EC fungicides is especially important when mixing with Urea Ammonium Nitrate (UAN) liquid fertilisers. Because UAN and some herbicide products are prone to crop scorch it is important not to increase the chance of crop damage by mixing them with an EC fungicide.

UPLIFT fungicide is a new broad-spectrum fungicide for use in wheat and barley. It combines 2 highly active fungicides – strobilurin and triazole (280g/L azoxystrobin + 120g/L prothioconazole) – for residual and systemic activity.
Not managing foliar disease can accelerate the senescence of the top leaves of wheat and barley plants, leading to reduced yields. Some disease can also spread to the ears and grains which will affect grain quality. Given this, it’s best to avoid damage to the top 3–4 yield determining leaves (see diagram) by applying a mix that will cause crop scorch or phytotoxicity.
In wheat & barley, the top 3 leaves plus ear/head contribute 95–97% of the final yield.
UPLIFT Compatibility
UPLIFT fungicide has undergone extensive physical compatibility testing with a range of products.
UPLIFT was applied to all mixes at a rate of 525ml/ha using a water rate of 100L/ha. Residues were tested after standing for 24 hours and the mix was passed through a 300-micron sieve to test for residues. Studies were undertaken using Hard water.1

UPLIFT may be physically compatible with a wide range of products; however, the biological compatibility of these mixtures may not have been fully tested under all environmental and biological conditions.
A mixture of UPLIFT with other products in some circumstances may be ineffective or may cause serious damage. The use of such a mixture is not recommended and would therefore be entirely at the user’s risk.
If tank mixes are to be used, observe all directions, precautions and limitations on all products to be used.
As formulations of other manufacturer’s products are beyond the control of UPL Australia Limited, and water quality varies with location, all mixtures should be tested prior to mixing commercial quantities.
