We are pleased to announce the winners of the Etec Crop Solutions Lincoln University Scholarship are Luke Palmer (far left), Paige Abernethy and Lachlan Wood. Luke is from Canterbury and studying towards a Bachelor of Commerce (Agriculture). He is passionate about arable farming and is considering a career in the rural banking or farm consulting sectors. Paige is studying a Bachelor of Agricultural Science (Honours). She has a particular interest in soil management and practices that can lead to more sustainable farming. Once graduated she intends to pursue a career in agronomy. Lachlan is from Southland and studying towards a Bachelor of Agricultural Science (Honours). His work experience to date has seen him in a variety of roles and locations, from a general farm hand in the North Island, to a Western Australian cropping/farming operation. Once graduated he wants to pursue a career in either agronomy or the rural banking sector.
