Li-700 is an acidifier, which creates a more favourable pH environment for herbicides such as glyphosate, MCPA, 2,4-D, clopyralid, dicamba etc. Some crop protection products such as carfentrazone and cymoxanil are degraded in alkaline water (alkaline hydrolysis). Adding Li-700 as acidifying agent ensures that the pH of alkaline water is adjusted to optimise product performance.
