That’s why this month, we’re thrilled to welcome two highly experienced professionals to our UK team.
Meet James Kennedy - Head of Business Development
Joining us from Orion Future Technology, James has been tasked with continuing the impressive growth of our NPP range and expanding the reach of our knowledge and expertise across the UK.
“The vision and investment in the NPP division by UPL is fantastic. UPL is pushing to the forefront of the biosolutions sector in the industry, with products like IODUS and THIOPRON gaining significant traction in the market,” says James.
He’s excited to get to work, and notes how our Shray Hill site is another huge asset for UPL - one that no other crop protection manufacturer can match in the UK.
James is looking forward to seeing how new products in the NPP pipeline are performing, and eager to share their promise with a wider audience.
Meet Tom Wheelhouse - Technical Specialist for the West of England
Tom has actually risen through the ranks at UPL, and has just been promoted to our UK team from UPL’s research and development arm.
He’s worked for our legacy companies - Chemtura and Arysta - since 2006, and brings extensive on-seed treatment experience as a research agronomist and application specialist for Europe.
“I enjoyed interacting with customers when I was the seed treatment application specialist,” says Tom. “I like to find out what our customers need and help them with technical advice, which is what this role is all about.”
Letting our customers in on his detailed knowledge on all the benefits of our strong conventional seed treatments - RANCONA i-MIX and SIGNAL - and our NPP range including SUNAGREEN and SYLAS - Tom will fit right in.
