UPL has recruited Robbie
Jamie to further strengthen its technical services team and support its
ambitious plans for growth in the UK.
It is an exciting time for
the crop protection manufacturer, with the launch of the Natural Plant
Protection range of biosolutions building on an established portfolio of
conventional crop protection products. “We’re delighted to have Robbie join the
team,” says Stuart Jackson, UPL’s head of technical services. “We are heavily
focused on educating the sector on the application of natural technologies.
Robbie will increase our capabilities, allowing us to support more farmers and
agronomists with more information.”
Robbie comes from agronomy
services provider, Agrii, where he was an agronomist advising on farms in the
Midlands. His practical on-farm experience will be a valuable addition to the
team. “I am excited to get started at UPL,” says Robbie. “They are a dynamic,
well-respected and knowledgeable team working for a forward-thinking company.
Most of my experience is in the combinable crops sector, so that will be my
focus initially. UPL operate in a broad range of crops, so I expect
opportunities for new challenges in the roots and horticultural segments in the
future.”
