In extensive university and UPL trials, Viludo reduced clomazone-related crop injury by up to 25%, allowing growers to apply optimized herbicide rates for cleaner fields and stronger crops.
Viludo seed safener contains the active ingredient fenclorim, which increases rice’s ability to metabolize certain herbicides. The treatment process optimizes rice tolerance to associated herbicides, enabling the crop to focus more energy on crop development as opposed to recovery from herbicide injury.
In the presence of standard pesticide applications, Viludo seed safener also promotes biostimulant activity, leading to a healthier rice crop and optimized yield potential. Early-season benefits include greater root biomass and improved canopy formation within 28–35 days after emergence, helping the crop reach flooding faster and establish a foundation for top-end performance.
