Intrava® DX Herbicide: The Latest Innovation for Weed Control in Corn
When it comes to weed management, there are a number of effective active ingredients (AIs) available to farmers, but their continued, uninterrupted use can lead to weed resistance. That’s why new active ingredients are an important part of a farmers resistance management program. With a team of 750+ researchers and scientists around the world, UPL Corp is developing novel technologies that give farmers even more options and flexibility to stamp out weeds – including the first AI for a corn herbicide in over a decade, amicarbazone.
Intrava® DX herbicide containing amicarbazone is a uniquely effective herbicide that is new to the corn market. It delivers broad spectrum broadleaf weed and grass control with enhanced residual efficacy. That means farmers can have cleaner fields for longer periods of time, ensuring valuable nutrients and resources are available for corn plants. Intrava® DX herbicide is currently anticipating EPA registration in the US.
Sustainability is at the core of everything we do, but particularly in our innovation. This new product is a complement to existing technologies, extending their life and efficacy while addressing farmer needs. It also has a low-use rate so farmers know a little goes a long way, while it also serves as a great foundational tank mix.
UPL Corp is always focused on Intrava® DX herbicide, we’re dedicated to helping farmers grow a better future for the world.
“Intrava® DX herbicide gives farmers a unique AI for broad spectrum weed control, that helps them combat weed resistance without sacrificing yields.”
Carlos D’Arce, US Herbicide Portfolio Manager.
